Ok...we said we would be leaving on the 1st........and we only missed it by 2 days..We had a lot to do in those 2 days. Mostly cleaning up the coach and getting it back to liveable. The boys in the shop came through on all our projects. Bob had made his list and checked it twice and they really did a great job. But like all projects they needed to end and the packing began. Of course Bob worked on all the outside projects and I did the inside. The worst was it was at the shop so that meant bringing everything down in boxes. But by Saturday night it was mostly finished...and the best way of dealing with everything was my "piece of mind" to keep telling myself that if I forgot it I would just have to go and buy it!!! So that was Saturday. Then on Sunday we had a "good bye breakfast " with Steve and Jane...(hopefully they will be coming down to visit in January or February) and then in the afternoon we played with the boys. First off grandpa got the quad and let them ride them around the shop. But of course the sky opened up and rained on their parade...but boys will be boys and they just kept riding. Good thing that grandma thought ahead and brought clean clothes. After the quad ride we went bowling. I hate to admit it but their scores were better than ours!!!! Off to Mexican dinner to celebrate our leaving with them and then returned them to Jim and Cathy's to say our good byes. It is hard for Devin to say goodbye but I told him I would be doing this blog and that we would email daily!!! All we got from Korban was "when are you coming back"....he was off to take a shower and that was that!!!
We got on the road at 4:58 (Bob pulled out of Infinty Coacch)...We met up with rain and more rain but the sun did shine on us alittle at a time. The time on the road gives us time to talk.......and we did do a little of that!!!! We traveled for 12 hours and now are in Well's Neveada. Our friend David wants us to visit the liquor store here to say "hi" to a biker friend. We had dinner in the Casino...and the way I look at it when you stay at a casino for "free" I had to spend money in the Casino...so I think the night cost us about $30.00 in all.........Oh we did get free drinks........
